WE ARE MOM

Mamke is one of the leading lifestyle brands in Central Europe. We enjoy doing things quickly and with quality and we like to be heard about, but we also like to be inconspicuous. In a short time, with our unique, pleasantly cheeky approach and emphasis on the quality of everything we do, we have gained many satisfied customers and fans, as well as a reputation that is not seen anywhere else.

We are not afraid to stand up for our opinions, try the undiscovered and do things our own way. We may not please everyone, but that is not our goal. Mamke is about expressing ourselves, without having to say anything, about young and creative people, fun, our own opinion and everything that "Good Friends Bad Ideas" hides.

Let's get started, Mom.

Mamke was created while traveling through Southeast Asia in 2017. They were inspired by the street brand scene in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali, and Berlin and added their own twist. In the beginning, it was just an idea to have something physical, to print t-shirts, mugs, and the like.

The name Mamke came about because we were originally supposed to be a gift shop for parents, and once we had the domain and logo, we didn't want to change it.

2018

New warehouse and 10000+ orders

In 2018, we achieved something we couldn't even imagine a year ago. With a new website and more than 20 festivals, we became known by reaching 10,000+ orders. Forbes wrote about us for the first time, we moved twice, each time to larger premises. At the same time, our team expanded to about 8 people.

2019

Mom Roadtrips and more

In 2019, we went on a Mamke Roadtrip across almost all of Central Europe, where we were part of cultural events, photo shoots, etc. At the same time, we expanded our offer and started to focus on B2B.

2020-2021

Covid and big plans

At the beginning of 2020 we moved into our own office, we also increased our warehouse, expanded our production. We also planned to open stores in Berlin and Bali, but Covid disrupted our plans a bit. That's why we focused more on online, stopped doing pop ups and improving the experience.

2022-2023

Return and further expansion

In 2022 and 2023, we returned to the festival scene, opened pop-ups in Prague and Bratislava, and brought back the children's pieces we basically started with.

In addition, we also devoted ourselves to the reconstruction of other spaces, photo shoots, and production.

2024

Breakthrough year

At the beginning of the year, I was a little fed up with the same old routine, I felt like I wasn't making any progress and I was considering ending Mamke. Plus, I was 30, so it seemed like a sensible chapter to close. Luckily, after a longer break in Bali, I reassessed things and started giving Mamke 100% again.

2025

Expansion

In 2025, we expanded our offering, launched new markets in Poland and Romania + prepared for the Rebrand, which stretched until the beginning of 2026.

We also moved part of our production to Portugal, attended trade fairs from China to the UK and brought many collaborations, collaborations with F1 and more.
